The Parish of St Peter, Pembury

For nearly 900 years, St. Peter’s has been at the heart of the village of Pembury. We are a vibrant community of all ages seeking to play our part in sharing God’s love in word and deed throughout our parish and beyond.

We are an Inclusive Church, emphasising the importance of being a loving community, supporting one another through friendship and care.

We worship in two buildings – the Upper Church and the Old Church and online via Zoom.

Safeguarding

The parish of St Peter, Pembury is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
